Dear Friends,
OVERVIEW
“Age does not prevent you to Volunteer”
This week as our nation celebrates Teachers’ Day we are reminded that we adults are all teachers too. Waterways Watch Society’s volunteers are teachers in this light. In our weekly programmes and activities our volunteers tirelessly and passionately continue to work to spread the word of keeping our waters and environment clean and safe. Yes, the young ones need to know and learn. Thus we need to lead by example and be there to teach the young ones to do the right thing, and what better way than being around and allowing the young ones experience by watching and doing the things the adults are doing.
We have in our midst, volunteers who would have their children with them doing what is important to them and the future generations. All of us are on a Life learning journey. Keep on teaching. We’re all teachers.
