We are so glad that the situation of COVID-19 in Singapore is improving and we are moving to phase II soon (19th. June planned).
At Kallang Office, operation staff have done a good job on physical setup for safety measures, including all signages, markings on the ground, table for taking temperature and the dinning areas. Extra chairs have also been removed from the pantries and seminar room in classroom chairs set apart (safe distancing). EXCO has gone through safety measures with admin staff, leaders will be going through this weekend. The maintenance of Punggol and Lakeside was cut short due to the heavy rain (see photos). Inspections of boats and kayaks are holding back to phase II.
This week we had a virtual talk for BHP and received encouraging feedback from participants. There is another planned corporate virtual talk for AMEX in the middle of July. To better promote ourselves and train our presenters at the same time, WWS would like to offer a FREE 10min virtual talk, covering the importance of protecting Singapore waterways and selling what and why we are doing it. The E-poster about this free talk has been released on our website and all our other social media. We are also planning to register new leaders with MOE for facilitators and renew for our existing facilitators.
