Dear friends,
Last week was a slow week, we took time to catch up on our housekeeping and admin backlog. Coupled with our National Day on Friday, the week was short. However we delivered one MPA Talk to 300 students from Casuarina Primary School and one CSR program on pedal boat for MS Amlin (14 pax). We also did six Safety Boat Services. One school kayak program with Temasek International was cancelled and a recent recce to Coney island was postponed due to staff shortage (on MC that week). CEO was invited to do a chit-chat session with NVPC Knowledge Group.
For the week, Punggol Branch was closed for weekday and weekend patrols; but for Marina and Lakeside offices, the 37 members turned up during the weekend, including two new members doing orientation. Other than the usual boat and bike patrol duties, we also had a small kayak activity for members at Marina. As it was a slow week, admin did more clearing and cleaning in the storage, seminar room and Bike area (see photos).
National Day week was short but during our program and duty, still collected 23 Kg, which was mostly plastic origin.
A total of 2 fishing engaged and 1 sighted but not engaged. One more engaged on releasing fish at the small bridge behind Camp Kilo Charcoal Club (see photos).
