Dear Friends, This week, WWS had two WWE programmes at Pang Sua for Greenridge Primary (sponsored by NWCDC – 50pax) and Nanyang Primary School (Sponsored by NWCDC – 1200pax), one assembly talk for East Spring Primary (sponsored NWCDC – 9pax). We also had a River Monster programme for 180pax students from Zhonghua Primary School. In addition, our CEO and Founder, Eugene Heng, invited by MP Denise Phua, gave a talk for Central CDC at the National Gallery Theatre (National Museum). There were over 220 attendees at the talk. We also had our first Members Kayak Patrol (15pax) for the year which also included new members. Our regular weekend bike and boat patrols in Marina and Punggol observe a total of 30 members. We also had an EXCO meeting on Sunday. This week, we were also given the LOA from PA for signing. This offer of partnership will result in giving PA a referral commission and administrative fee of about 35%. We intend to offer our services during off-peak season. The SRP training under LTA Sponsorship has been postponed to 14th April 2018 at WWS Premises. We are still awaiting for the LTA Authority Card. There were no engagements for fishing this week. 41pax engaged for anti-littering in front of Sports Hub. All were engaged, and they complied in general. The total litter collected by our weekly programmes at Marina total up to 42.51kg this week, with over 60% of plastic origin. We would also like to highlight that we sighted untidy and wild growing plants around the Floating Plant Islands at Punggol (see photos). A total of 3 shared bikes were found inside the Kallang Waterways found during our programmes and weekend patrols (see photos).
