Dear Friends, It was a hectic week for Waterways Watch.  Besides having housekeeping and renovation for our Punggol office and the setting up our half-container store, WWS managed to deliver one school talk for Jurong West Secondary (500 pax), two Waterways Watch Explorer (WWE) Programmes (Greenwood Primary School at Yishun Pond – 38 pax and Zhonghua Primary School at Sengkang Wetland – 40 pax). We also participated in two exhibition booths at ACJC and AJC this week (5 members) and 4 CSR programmes done – MOF Kayaking Programme (12 pax), Salesforce Bike Programme (36 pax), Coca-Cola Kayaking and Boat Programme (41 pax) an another US Waferfab Talk and booth (7 pax). We also participated in the LTA sponsored SRP Programme this weekend with a total of 17 members who attended the course. Our weekend patrols (Marina and Punggol) this weekend had a total of 53 members excluding the SRP attendees. This weekend, we had the largest number of new members doing orientation with a total of 12 new members. Our Garden crew continued their work this weekend on our CIB plot. Our Punggol office did a weekday boat patrol; The weekend patrol was cancelled as members were spending time completing the set-up and renovation of Punggol Office. During the week, we had one engagement for fishing, 70 pax on anti-littering and four individuals for smoking in a non-smoking zone.
