ABC Waters – Atrocious, Bad & Catastrophic

Dear Friends,

This week, we bring you a little special extra day due to the long weekend. We had 31 members embark on a kayak clean up patrol up Kallang River during the public holiday on 31 March 2025. While it was a good experience for our members, what we saw was less than good. (Please see photos.)

Our new members from previous week’s orientation also came for their maiden patrols this week! Welcome all new members! We hope you had an enjoyable & meaningful time during your patrol. We are always looking forward for inputs and feedback to improve our patrols and involvement with the environment and community.

Back to our litter, it really doesn’t take any effort to make a place dirty. All we need to do is leave it alone. But it takes all the effort we can muster to keep it clean. We sincerely hope the residents of Singapore can stand together to save our waters and our livelihood.
