Dear Friends,
OVERVIEW
Together for Tomorrow: WWS Celebrates a Year of Impact at Our AGM!
We’re excited to announce that the Waterways Watch Society (WWS) held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 29 September 2024 at our Kallang Headquarters. It was a fantastic opportunity to come together and celebrate our achievements from the past year.
In the financial year ending March 2024, WWS made significant strides by organizing 387 programs in partnership with various schools and corporations. These initiatives not only raised awareness about environmental issues but also actively engaged the community in meaningful ways. Our dedicated environmental champions also conducted an impressive 2,755 voluntary patrols, directly contributing to the health and cleanliness of our waterways. Their commitment exemplifies how grassroots efforts can make a real difference in promoting sustainability.
Sustainability remains central to our mission, and we’re eager to welcome more individuals and organizations to join us in this important cause. Together, we can create positive change and make a lasting impact on our environment. We want to thank everyone so far for your support and contributions. Looking ahead, we’re excited about the potential for new partnerships and initiatives in the coming year! You may refer to our Annual Report for more details.
