Dear Friends,
OVERVIEW
“Gathering Together: Forming New Friendships and Reunion of Old”
This week was truly heartwarming as we celebrated the coming of new members and the reunion of old ones at Waterways Watch Society (WWS). The highlight of our week was our Annual General Meeting, where we engaged in fruitful discussions about our operations and program initiatives. It’s a moment to commemorate and celebrate the remarkable successes of our non-profit organisation.
We take immense pride in our accomplishments, which include raising water stewardship awareness. We’ve been successful in spreading awareness about the critical importance of water stewardship among local schools and corporate partners. This outreach ensures a brighter, water-conscious future.
However, in the spirit of continuous improvement, we also reviewed areas where miscommunications occurred, leading to the partial execution of certain programs. While these setbacks are acknowledged, they motivate us to enhance our internal communication mechanisms and optimise our program delivery.
In addition to awareness-raising, our dedicated teams have continued to work tirelessly to maintain the cleanliness of our waterways seven days a week. This commitment is a testament to our unwavering dedication to environmental preservation.
Thank you for your support and dedication to the cause. Minutes of the AGM will be posted on our website soon and our Annual Report will be ready for sharing by early Sept. 2023.

Once again, we sincerely thank all members and volunteers, who came for patrol or for facilitating the CSR/VIA programs, for your time and dedication to the task. Without your support we would not have been able to achieve this. Special mention to the teachers of Pathlight who came down in strength to participate in our kayak cleanup programme. Three cheers to the teachers, students and our facilitators! Young and old, we all must care for our environment.
