Celebrating Our Future & World Water Day!

Dear Friends,
World Water Day was on 22 March 2025. During this week, we would like to honour and pay tribute to our late great Prime Minister and Sr. Mentor Minister Lee Kuan Yew. His dream of the Marina Reservoir is part of the reason why Waterways Watch Society exists. Thank you Sir for giving us the Singapore of today; and hopefully we will be able to carry out your wish and vision and continue to realise your dream going forward under capable, humble and visionary leaders (photos of our past-by water parade in 2015/2016 attached).
Back on Sustainability, we almost had a full week of programmes, but due to the reported monsoon rains, a couple of companies decided to reschedule their events. Even so, we had a good turnout, some of them even braved some slight drizzle, determined to continue cleaning our reservoir. Our regular partners, Abbott, also hosted 2 pre-schools for a clean up activity for a “double” CSR programme!
We also ran an orientation programme to welcome new volunteers (26 pax); plus, 2 new residents from Pang Sua joined our team!
Special thanks to all our members (old and new) for your dedication and passion in Sustainability.
