“Don’t worry! They never come.”
Dear Friends,
Another week in our daily activities, another week hearing the same unfortunate responses from park users.
Lately, fishers going out of bounds has been increasing! While we have gotten our authority cards from PUB and engaged them, it is clear that they do not bother to recognise neither advice nor authority.
Our President even experienced the following,“I know the siren. But we (are) not fishing now, only resting.” When told that photos earlier caught them in the act of fishing, they replied,“Uncle, don’t worry, they (PUB) never come.” These people already don’t care about the inconvenience they cause, and they know they won’t get caught.
Back onto trash, our CSR and volunteers managed a whooping 509kg combined! Once again a sad reminder that we truly need a lot more work to maintain as a first-world community.
