OVERVIEW
Another active week for Waterways with many days back-to-back programmes with Tuesday afternoon even having two Corp. CSR doing two different activities. There was also one with two sessions for Teachers of a Primary School. On Thursday, we participated (on invitation) as judges for the Young Sustainability Competition held at Science Centre- it was a very interesting event seeing students present their exhibits on Sustainability.
Saturday had a members Punggol Kayak Cleanup (19 pax total) while 8 CVL members attended the Appreciation Lunch organised by NEA.
The busy week ended with a grand finale event- WWS Family Carnival Day! It was a great day with over 300 members, families and friends visiting the Carnival. Free boat rides and pedal boat rides with Pickleball Appreciation sessions were popular besides the many game booths and free finger food. Thank you everyone who supported this annual event. The organising committee under the leadership and guidance of Joo Kek and Diane did outstanding work and was well appreciated by those attending.

b. Member Patrols
- 3 Boat patrols – 1 Marina, 2 Punggol
- 1 Bike patrol – Marina
- 1 Foot patrol – Pang Sua Pond
- 1 Kayak patrol – Punggol

- Total rubbish collected – 97 kg
