Dear Friends,
OVERVIEW
Our Volunteers are True Volunteers, Our Partners are Dedicated and Passionate on Sustainability!
Together for a better cleaner and safer Singapore!
Another great week however it ended with disappointment for 23 enthusiastic members at Lakeside when patrol on kayak and boat had to be cancelled because of bad weather. During the week we did 5 new sessions of River Monster Junior with Ngee Ann Poly, 6 Corporate CSRs, Members Patrol at Pang Sua, Punggol and Kallang Marina, 5 Safety Boat duties and of course Gardening.
Special thanks to Infineon staff who bravely did their CSR on Saturday even though it was drizzling. Waterways Watch is proud to work with schools and corporations eager to learn more about sustainability. Something that is everyone’s responsibility- from K1 to Senior Citizens.
As we enter into June School Holidays, we are blessed by having Corporate Programmes fill this gap.
Finally, we welcome Patrick Wang who will join us for 6 months, to help meet our anticipated heavy programme bookings. Patrick will also be tasked to work on revising our Safety SOP (with President Joo Kek and team) and lead our Family Carnival Day (planned for late July).
Thank you, Members, for your continued support and dedication.
