Dear Friends,
OVERVIEW
“Wildlife Diversity”
One of the highlights of the week was the exciting discovery of various wild animals at Jurong Lakeside Garden. Our members reported sightings of diverse wildlife, showcasing the flourishing ecosystem within the Jurong Lakeside Garden. Such encounters serve as a reminder of the critical role we play in safeguarding these environments for the benefit of both the wildlife and the community. This observation not only emphasises the ecological richness of the area but also underscores the importance of our ongoing efforts to preserve and protect these natural habitats.
Despite facing gloomy weather conditions, our dedicated team of CSR members and our members remained committed to keeping our waterways clean! The inclement weather affected some of our patrols, but I am pleased to report that the spirit and determination of our volunteers remained unwavering. Their resilience in adverse conditions is truly commendable, reflecting the strong sense of responsibility and dedication within our organisation. In the face of challenging weather conditions, it is heartening to note that none of our members gave up. Their commitment to our cause and the community is truly inspiring. We continue to foster a sense of camaraderie and teamwork, and the support we provide to each other ensures the success of our collective efforts.

Without your support we would not have been able to achieve this. Special mention to the teachers of Pathlight who came down in strength to participate in our kayak cleanup programme. Three cheers to the teachers, students and our facilitators! Young and old, we all must care for our environment. Sustainability is the only way forward.
