Dear Friends,
OVERVIEW
“Happy National Day Singapore”
As Singapore joyfully commemorates its 58th birthday, it’s an opportune moment to reflect on the poignant words of the beloved NDP song, “Home.” The line “Sail down the river which brings us life” holds a profound significance that strikes a chord within our souls here at the Waterways Watch Society. Just as the rivers intertwine with the essence of the nation, carrying life and history along their currents, our organisation is similarly dedicated to preserving and nurturing these waterways that have woven themselves into the fabric of our collective identity. In this celebration of Singapore’s journey, we are reminded of the interconnectedness between our nation’s past, present, and future – a harmony echoed by the flowing rivers that have witnessed it all.
As we continue to ensure the cleanliness of our waterways for life and health, we want to highlight that members Jen and Daniel did us proud participating in this year’s NDP. Well Done!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who stands by us in this endeavour. Your unwavering support is the foundation upon which our aspirations thrive, empowering us to continue our vital work in preserving the lifelines of our beloved nation.
