Dear Friends,

OVERVIEW

“Amidst the Festivities: Let’s Not Forget Responsibility!”

We even picked up one used fireworks canister at the front of the floating platform.

As we inch closer to celebrating Singapore’s 58th birthday, we must not forget the cruciality of maintaining our Clean & Green Singapore. Keeping our nation clean and environmentally friendly is a collective responsibility that each of us must uphold. It’s a duty we all share, and each of us plays a vital role in preserving our environment. During the festive season, it is essential for everyone to take responsibility for their own waste, preventing litter from polluting our waterways, reservoirs, and surroundings. We should never underestimate the collective effort required to keep our water resources and environment clean and unpolluted.

Preserving the cleanliness and greenery of Singapore isn’t just a task for a select few, like our dedicated cleaners, but a responsibility that belongs to every citizen. By joining hands, we can create a pristine and safe environment that fills us with pride, especially when we look back at how far our nation has come. As we come together to celebrate Singapore’s birthday, let’s remember that preserving a clean and green Singapore goes beyond mere obligation; it’s a shared responsibility that will benefit both present and future generations.
