Dear Friends,

OVERVIEW

“We still believe that Education Starts From Young”

This week we picked out a lot of trash which largely consists of plastic materials. We realized that much of the litter (photo, left) were food plastic packaging, straws, plastic cups, and plastic bottles.

It is crucial that education starts from a young (photo, middle and right)! When we impart educational knowledge about the environment to children, they learn and absorb information that is pivotal for the future of our world. Thereon, children develop critical and creative thinking that develops their sense of appreciation and empathy for the environment. As a result, children learn and take action to create a more sustainable and greener environment for themselves and the future.

Everyone plays an important role in ensuring our environment is clean and green. No matter the age, we need to do our part for the environment and each individual is responsible for building up a clean and green environment we can call home.

We are also pleased to share the news that the Waterways Watch Society has been awarded the CRC (Team)-Covid-19 Resilience Certificate for our dedicated service and commitment to our fight against Covid-19 from the PUB.  Thank you to all members who supported and participated in this role during that period. Well Done.
