Dear Friends,
This week was a shorter week as Friday was Labor Day. WWS didn’t do any outdoor activity due to the circuit breaker. However, we successfully completed an online sharing session with Zendesk, 45 people from Zendesk attended. We have planned another online Lunch Talk for Taylor & Francis in early May. The online funding raising session organized by NVPC has been postponed and we are not sure if our project has been accepted as we are told the response was oversubscribed.
We had a conference meeting with BHP, who is willing to help us during this tough period; and RBC also expressed interest to do the program when conditions are suitable. .
At Kallang office, we had to move our boats so that Bangseng workers (PUB Cleaners) can help clear the water hyacinths below our pontoon. At Jurong office, we continued to warm-up our boats and check the premises at least once a week. We installed some netting on the windows of the container office so that some of the windows can be left opened to increase ventilation of the container office. Fan with timer was installed. At Punggol office, stagnant water in boat (#2) was cleared. Everything in all three offices were in order for the week (see photo).
