Dear Friends,
This was a short week for WWS. While we only worked four days, we did have a planned site visit to Semakau for 25 of our members (thank you NEA for coordinating this and the guides who lead us), an RM (Junior) with Shaw’s Pre-school (12 kids, 10 parents and 2 teachers ) and one for HDB (30pax) at Punggol Waterways. In addition, we had two safety boat services provided (one dragon boat and another for CNY Fireworks).
There was also one weekday patrol done at Punggol Waterways by 2 members. Weekend patrol will be cancelled for the CNY.
Total litter collected for the short week was 18Kg. There were two engagements on fishing this week (5 fishermen, all young adults Chinese).
Finally, we would like to wish all our partners “Gong Xi Fa Cai” (Happy Chinese New Year).
