There was also 7 safety boat support this week making our total of programs and activities to 25.
Compliments must go to Kian Seng and Wai Tong for organising a very smooth back to back 9 kayak cleanup sessions over the weekend. It went extremely well with our AAA Team of kayak members. Fantastic work team!
For the week we also had two discussion with potential sponsors: a mining company and a wealth management found.
Total litter picked-up for the week was 142.5 kg.
Last week we had a total of 41 members turned up for weekday and weekend patrol duty. In Punggol, 5 members did two weekday patrols, and 2 new members did their orientation. During the weekend, 27 members in Marina and 9 in Lakeside did their bike patrol. In addition, 16 members facilitated Kayak programs for Shine Festival.
While we reported sightings of 4 fishing. Moreover, we did see a lot of litter along the ABC Kolam Ayer. It was quite disgraceful after public event. (see photos).
