Kallang Boat Patrol’s Report
The river is relatively dirty, the team picked up a total of 20kg of trash from the water, mainly made up of plastic bags. Also, the team educated 5 fishermen during the patrol the location of the fishing zones as well as the use of artificial baits in our reservoir water.
In addition, the team spotted a dangling and chipped tile on the Jubilee Bridge (towards Merlion). We have notified PUB and they have promptly acknowledged and will follow up on this issue.
We also rescued a baby bird from the water near the ABC site (nearer to the temple)
