Dear Friends, The week was relatively busy for us. We had two Kayak Learning Trails for Damai Secondary (80 pax), a visit by Parisian Study Group from Paris, one school assembly talk for CHIJOLQP (800pax)sponsored by NWCDC, one Love our Waters Kayak programme, sponsored by National Youth Council (NYC) (20 pax), a corporate programme on pedal boat for Pratt and Whitney’s senior management (12 pax). Our CEO, Eugene had also attended a workshop organised by Swire Pacific. We had a total of 6 Safety Boat duties during the week. The weekend also had a total of 24 members (including 2 new members) present for Marina and Punggol weekend patrols. We have also received 4 new applications to join WWS. There were 6 fishing engagements done, 6 reported sightings of fishermen and 5 anti-littering engagements over the weekend. The coming week will be exciting for WWS as we launch our simple educational-game called “River Rush” on our website and also through Play Store and App Store (for Android and IPhone users).
